Underwriter - Workers Compensation
$50K to $55K + super (negotiable) + other benefits

Boutique office of a large insurer that leads the Workers Compensation market
Rare opportunity: This very busy, well renowned insurance company is seeking a new Workers Compensation Underwriter.
Working in a friendly team orientated environment, you will be an essential member of the underwriting team. You will:
• Build relationships with brokers and direct clients
• Gather information about your clients for renewal and new business
• Accurately assess complicated data and use your expertise to calculate premiums
• Create accurate policies
• Handle queries from internal and external stakeholders
You need to have a Workers Compensation background as an Underwriter, Assistant Underwriter, Case Manager, Assistant Case Manager or other technical customer service orientated role. You also need strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels. The ability to work in a team orientated environment is also essential.
On offer is a salary of $50K to $55K + super (Negotiable), flexibility, extra annual leave and other benefits.
