Exciting New Contract Technical Business Analyst position

Working for a growing and successful Insurance brand
My leading Life Insurance client is growing! After a successful 2012 they have big expansion plans. As a result they require a talented Technical Business Analyst for an inital 6 month assignment with probable long term extensions beyond. The role Working on Front End Web applications, you will need to be a team player within a small to medium sized team. You will have broad responsibilities including drawing up Functional Specification documents, and understanding documentation, plus understanding Life Insurance Business Processes. The role will be split roughly 70/30 Business as Usual / Project work. Experience Required - Minimum 2 years as a Technical Business Analyst
- A solid understanding of Front End Web Applications
- Experience with Java
- Ideally a Life Insurance background
- Ability to understand documentation quickly
- Ability to construct Functional Specifications
- Experience as part of a small to medium sized team
Ideally you will come from a development background but have moved into analysis in recent years. The working environment is fast paced and dynamic. The business is ambitious and global, but seeking to expand in Australia rapidly. You will need to be proactive and be able to get up to speed with documentation rapidly.
