An opportunity to join an expanding Insolvency firm in the heart of the CBD as a Team Secretary awaits you.
You could be from a legal secretarial background looking for a new challenge or recently finished business or secretarial college and are looking to work in a professional services firm.
Our medium sized Chartered Accounting firm specialises in Insolvency and Business Recovery and is looking for two secretaries. The team secretaries will be working with a group of professionals dealing exclusively with insolvency administrations.
The successful candidates will be responsible for the following tasks: -
1. General management of word processing requirements for insolvency teams, including general and dictaphone typing and powerpoint presentations;
2. Assisting in the maintenance of a paperless office for insolvency administrations;
3. Managing lodgements of insolvency documents with statutory bodies and undertaking searches of various databases;
4. Maintenance and refinement of the Firm’s precedent software system;
Primary qualities that the successful candidates will possess are a business college or secretarial certificate (desirable), secretarial experience (desirable), have a high attention to detail, strong communication and organisational skills, ability to take on responsibility, an understanding for confidentiality and a willingness to learn.
A working knowledge of social media applications such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter would be an advantage.
Also to be successful in your application you must have the confidence to work independently and the ability to work well under pressure.
