Senior Leadership role, NSW Trains
Operations Planning and Coordination Manager
Reporting to the General Manager Customer Service Delivery you will develop,lead and maintain all operating planning systems and processes, such as network access, major events, timetable planning and crew scheduling to ensure the seamless delivery of safe, reliable and efficient passenger train services. You will manage the division, building workforce competency and coordinating the work of a professionally diverse workforce to achieve overarching strategic and operational objectives. This will include coordinating the operation of all NSW Trains Train Control Services with the Rail Management Centre.
To succeed in this role you will require extensive and proven management experience in a complex and dynamic rail environment with a sound knowledge of planning and timetabling requirements and activities. You will have strong commmercial acumen and experience in developing and implementing business plans. In particular you will be able to work across boundaries and have a proven record of success in improving safety and operational performance and influencing safety compliance. Like to know more?
