Sales Representative - Clothing wholesale


This is a great opportunity for a motivated sales person to help us expand our long established textile business in Revesby, Sydney.

Based in Sydney & Melbourne, a Leader in clothing manufacturing, with a variety of products of SOUVENIR CLOTHING, CASUAL CLOTHING, UNIFORM, UNDERWEAR, SOUVENIR GIFTS selling to retails, supermarkets and distributors.We have been in the clothing industry for 13 years. We now offer an exciting and challenging role as Sales Representative.

Reporting to the General Manager, this position will predominantly focus on in development of new business opportunities throughout Australia. It is also your responsibility to keep a professional relationship with all the key accounts, by working with Sales Support to deliver quality products and service to clients.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Listening to customers’ requirements and presenting the company’s ready-made garments and custom made garment
  • service to ensure customers receive good value of money
  • Cold calling and visiting potential customers for new business
  • Making repeat sales to our existing customers
  • Ability to maintain relationships and provide top customer service
  • Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets

To be successful you’ll need to have:

  • A highly professional and dynamic personality be very well presented
  • Outstanding communication skills in speaking and writing; Chinese speaking preferred
  • Exceptional personal presentation skills and a natural sense of style
  • A natural salesperson - confident, determined approach and be highly self-motivated, target driven
  • Innovative, tenacious, a 'never give up' personality
  • Great organisational skills
  • Experience in the clothing and/or clothing manufacturing ????? ?????
  • Previous experience in B2B sales (preferred)
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

The successful applicant will receive salary based on experience, phone, and car/travel allowance plus commission package, as well as the opportunity to progress to Sales Manager role. Previous experience and/or formal qualification in the textile, clothing and footwear industry would be well regarded.
