2 YEAR CONTRACT Part or Full-Time (Up to 38 hours per week)
Base location: North Rocks (flexible working arrangements may be negotiated)
Award: Conditions according to SCHCADS Award
Salary Range: $75,000 to $80,000 (above award)

Project Manager Role
This position will be responsible for:
a) Implementing the existing project establishment plan, whose initial activities include research / review, network-building, consultation and planning
b) Developing a detailed two year plan working with a project steering ????? ?????
c) Identifying and sourcing required project resources (additional team members, materials, consultants, volunteers)
d) Implementing the overall project.
The Focus on Early Childhood Inclusion project sits within the Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC) broader strategy Strengthening Supports for Children aged 0 – 8 years and their families, a key initiative to bring ????? ????? the intention of Stronger Together 2 for children and young people with a disability and their families in NSW. Early Childhood Intervention Australia (NSW Chapter) [ECIA NSW], and ADHC are working in close partnership to implement the Focus on Early Childhood Inclusion project and to develop and implement a Transition to School package. The overall project aims are to strengthen service capabilities in supporting children 0-8 within the community.
ECIA NSW has a strong commitment to the inclusion of children with a disability within mainstream family, early childhood, school and community settings. Through the network of its members, it has much experience and practical knowledge with which to provide sector leadership and guidance in support of inclusive practice.
Communities include young children with disabilities to a greater extent
Families have choices about where their children receive support, with this mostly occurring ????? ????? places where other children of similar age are.
The Focus on Early Childhood Inclusion project will influence stakeholders across the early childhood specialist and mainstream sectors, and provide professional leadership in promoting innovative and evidence-based strategies to support the broader social inclusion of children with disabilities 0-8, and the facilitation of their transition to school.
Postion selection criteria & application process
Strong knowledge of early childhood disability and/or education sectors
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant area
Demonstrated ability to lead and co-ordinate a project and its team
Strong verbal communication, coaching/feedback skills, effective delegation skills
Demonstrated abilities in project planning and implementation
Demonstrated skills in managing a budget and contributing to preparing ????? ?????, concise and accurate reports to funders, non-profit boards and/or steering ????? ?????
Relationship building and influencing skills
Excellent written communication skills
Willingness and ability to travel within NSW, as required
Experience within a community-based or membership-driven organisation
Demonstrated experience in working with a project steering ????? ?????
