Copyright Agency has just commenced a new relationship with Viscopy, a visual arts licensing organisation which represents over 8,000 visual artists in Australia and New Zealand.

By surveying our licensees, Copyright Agency estimates the use of copyright works to determine copyright payments to creators. We are increasingly using automatic identification methods that extract content from documents to assist the manual research that determines who should be paid for the use of their work.

About the role:

As Personal Assistant to the General Manager of Business Services you will be required to provide a high level of administration support and manage all administrative procedures for the General Manager’s office.

You will be required to perform the following duties:

  • Provide direct support to the General Manager and the division
  • Extensive diary management
  • Co-ordinate meetings for the General Manager including meeting preparation and catering ????? ?????
  • Manage all administrative procedures for the General Manager’s office
  • Preparation of Board agendas, collating Board papers, providing support to the Board and organising the Board retreat
  • Organisation of extensive travel itineraries – domestic and international
  • Act as a liaison between the Chief Executive’s office, Management and staff
  • Drafting and editing correspondence for the General Manager, including letters, memoranda, facsimiles, reports and emails
  • Preparation of presentation material
  • Prioritising and attending to all incoming mail, email and telephone calls

About you:

The successful applicant will need to possess the following:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous significant experience working as a Personal Assistant
  • Dictaphone skills
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office
  • Typing speed of 65 wpm
