Think about a partial retirement

Australia doesn't have enough skilled workers to fill the available jobs. This means that workers who have become sick of working in full time jobs after a long career but who cannot see themselves in full retirement are a great asset for businesses to consider headhunting for part time jobs.

Skilled and experienced workers are of benefit to any organisation, so taking on older part time workers can be an excellent way of filling jobs for which there are no available skilled younger workers willing to work full time.
