National Policy Manager: Sustainability and Regulation

    The Property Council of Australia is the peak advocacy body for Australia’s $600bn property industry and one of the country’s leading business groups.

    We are looking for a National Policy Manager: Sustainability and Regulation to join our successful national advocacy team.

    This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a policy portfolio encompassing the technical and regulatory issues facing the property sector.

    The role

    Reporting to the CEO and National Policy Director, your responsibilities will include:

    • preparing ????? ????? government
    • developing and managing public policy positions relating to regulation, standards and sustainability
    • representing industry as a powerful advocate
    • building relationships with key industry, government and non-government stakeholders
    • preparing ????? ?????
    • project management
    • managing member committees

    About You

    Your background will include several years' experience in a public policy, advocacy, government relations or public affairs role, ideally with prior experience in technical policy areas or regulatory reform.

    You will be a strategic thinker with superior written and verbal communication skills, stakeholder management experience, project management skills, and the ability to work autonomously within a small team environment.
