My client based in Sydney’s west is a well established engineering ????? ????? products and services to high-end industry sectors including the defence, mining and marine industries.

Despite global trends, continued growth has created a position and an exciting opportunity for a mechanical fitter, highly competent in hydraulics, to join a truly progressive Australian manufacturing ????? ????? an experienced friendly team.

The role is largely factory based but around 20-30% of your time will be spent on various sites, including marine vessels, mines and other remote locations. This is where your already competitive hourly rate gets coupled with attractive overtime, loadings and allowances, and a very real opportunity to earn serious dollars exists.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Formal trade qualifications and have at least 5 years industry experience.
• In-depth hydraulic knowledge and experience. Post trade quals in fluid power will be highly regarded
• A strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and comprehensively understand mechanical drawings and schematics
• Well developed communication skills
• A "roll up the sleeves" get things done attitude and a sound work ethic
