Controls Assurance Role $110-$120k+super

Assurance role with focus on Group operations - Big 4 Bank

Ideally 5+ years of FS exp covering Risk & Compliance.

Within this Assurance role you will be focusing on Operations within Group Services Risk

This is an exciting opportunity to join this innovative team where your focus will be on implementing a three lines of defence Risk Assurance model and to improve the overall controls and processes within the overall bank.

The following are the main responsibilities of the position:

• Ensuring ????? ????? reviews of Risk and Compliance systems are undertaken by following Group Risks policies and Risk strategy.
• Delivers the Control Assurance plan for Group Operations.
• Assisting Business Owners & 1st line Management to identify Risk exposures and to provide guidance in managing these risks across all Risk classes whilst identifying opportunities for improvement and raising these with Management.
• Liaising with both Internal and External Auditors, risk and other key stakeholders.
• Supporting the Senior Manager, Controls Assurance to Design, deliver and implement a three lines of defence Risk Assurance model whilst developing a controls Assurance strategy and plan for Group Services.
• Major relationships to be built between the Operations leadership team in the main whilst leading all internal and external audit relationships for a one team approach to assurance.

The Candidate:

The followings skills would ensure you success in this role:

• 5+years relevant financial services experience including extensive Risk & Compliance Management experience - ESSENTIAL
• Extensive Risk Assurance & monitoring ????? ????? a Financial Services field - ESSENTIAL
• Big 4 Background viewed favourably.
• Excellent written + communication skills - ESSENTIAL
• Effective communicator, Confident - ESSENTIAL
• Tertiary Qualifications in a Business related discipline (DESIRABLE)
