Lifeline Trainer and Assessor

 



Lifeline Sydney & Sutherland has a position available as a Trainer/Assessor for Lifeline Telephone Crisis Support students. This is a newly created position and will involve working with the current Lifeline Trainer/Assessor to deliver training and assessment to students at our Ashfield, Sydney CBD and Sylvania offices.

This is a four day permanent part-time role. Some evening work will be required.

Essential qualifications include:

  • Accreditation as a Lifeline Telephone Crisis Supporter
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40110)
  • Certificate IV in Telephone Counselling (CHC42208)
  • MS Office skills

Desirable qualifications:

  • Accredited Applied Suicide Intervention Strategy Training (ASIST) trainer
  • Accredited Mental Health First Aid trainer
  • Other mental health training experience

Salary will be in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award, Level 5.
