Information Services Coordinator

 



Copyright Agency is one of the world's leading rights management organisations, providing licensed access to content for commercial, educational and government organisations and representing over 25,000 writers, journalists, photographers, publishers, cartoonists and visual artists.

Copyright Agency has just commenced a new relationship with Viscopy, a visual arts licensing organisation which represents over 8,000 visual artists in Australia and New Zealand.

By surveying our licensees, Copyright Agency estimates the use of copyright works to determine copyright payments to creators. We are increasingly using automatic identification methods that extract content from documents to assist the manual research that determines who should be paid for the use of their work.

Reporting to the Director Information Services within Copyright Agency, you will be working closely with five managers in the Information Services division to undertake administrative tasks, coordinate cross departmental activities and provide executive support.

This role will provide opportunities for a person with 2+ years experience to further develop their skills becoming proficient in using MS office applications including Project, Powerpoint, and Visio, meeting preparation and minute taking, and preparing ????? ????? reports.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Updating and maintaining the data processing schedule
  • Assisting with preparing ????? ?????
  • Assisting with preparing ????? ????? procedures, protocols and policies
  • Coordinating internal and external meetings
  • Preparing ????? ?????/data for audits
  • Producing daily performance reports
  • Managing subscriptions and stationary orders
  • Recording staff attendance and leave
  • Organising staff events
  • Meeting scheduling, room preparation, agenda preparation, minute taking, and follow up of actions
  • Assist in preparing ????? ????? presentations
  • Cross departmental coordination of activities
  • Executive support

Essential criteria include:

  • Extremely pro-active
  • Minimum of two years office experience highly desirable
  • Previous executive support experience
  • Highly motivated and self managed
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent time management, organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Advanced MS Office skills including MS Project an advantage
