I.T Risk Analyst – Risk and Compliance

A leading Financial Institution is seeking to recruit an experienced I.T Risk Analyst to join their Technology Risk and Compliance team.

The role will involve providing strategic, operational and information risk input to the business to make improvements, enhancements and changes. The role is very relationship focused and will include liaising with senior stakeholders and piers within the business, making recommendations and educating.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in implementing appropriate risk management programs and other initiatives to identify, assess, treat and manage significant risks
• Providing advisory and consulting services to Enterprise Services and IT areas where appropriate.
• Supporting the development and delivery of operational risk education and communication initiatives to develop a culture of risk awareness
• Building relationships within the business and contributing advice on the development of group-wide operational risk control solutions
• Collecting data and preparing ????? ????? provide insight to Management of the operational risk environment and are compliant with APRA and Basel II requirements.
• Supporting the implementation of the Group Operational Risk and Group Compliance frameworks and other various operational risk management projects
• Ensuring ????? ????? with Group Operational Risk Frameworks

Ideally you will have:

• Experience in IT Risk Management
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for operation risk including Basel II, gs007 etc and control standards such as COBIT and ISO2700x
• Bachelor degree in Finance/Commerce or Technology/Engineering
• An understanding of business continuity management and operational risk management
• Excellent communication skills
• CISA or other I.T certificate is highly desirable.

The team acts as a consultancy towards the business and so an ideally you will have experience working at one of the consultancy or within a banking/financial service firm within the technology teams and provided operational risk guidance.
