Events and Communications Coordinator

About Copyright Agency

Copyright Agency is one of the world’s leading rights management organisations, providing licensed access to content for commercial, educational and government organisations and representing over 25,000 writers, journalists, photographers, publishers, cartoonists and visual artists.

Copyright Agency has recently commenced a new relationship with Viscopy, a visual arts licensing organisation which represents over 8,000 visual artists in Australia and New Zealand.

By surveying our licensees, Copyright Agency estimates the use of copyright works to determine copyright payments to creators. We are increasingly using automatic identification methods that extract content from documents to assist the manual research that determines who should be paid for the use of their work.
