Event Sales Executive


ARK Group ( is a global media company specialising in professional business events. We are a leading provider of straightforward business information. Our products are widely recognised as market leaders - our clients look to us for insight, advice and expertise. Products include information management publications and over 140 conferences, workshops, exhibitions and one-to-one business forums

This role involves selling delegate places for our entire range of events (including conferences, courses and workshops). You will be required to work on a number of events at the same time and expected to generate and maintain an acceptable number of leads per event.

Key skills required
Research: using every information source at your disposal (internet, list servers, national press, etc)
Excellent communication and sales skills
Time management: As you will be working on a number of events at the same time, it is your responsibility to manage your time effectively so that all events are given equal attention.

Role and responsibilities
Following up sales leads and developing relationships within organisations to sell existing and future events. The position includes responsibility to:
Keep up-to-date with industry press to broaden your knowledge of the key players and therefore continually expand your contact base.
To work as part of the conference team by providing feedback from potential delegates on the events and contributing ideas and suggestions where relevant
To research, call ????? ?????-up all leads generated through your research with the aim of selling delegate places for each event
To maintain all new and existing contacts and chases on the company intranet

FULL training will be provided to the right candidate

The role is 100% office based.
