The Director, Disability, Learning and Support will lead and direct the Department’s operations and responses to national and state education reforms to provide personalised support to students with a disability in early learning settings, primary and secondary schools.
 
The position’s occupant will also provide high quality expert, strategic and timely advice to the Minister, Director-General and other senior officers on all issues relating to disability services, special education operations and learning difficulties in early intervention, school education, TAFE and the broader VET sector within the Department of Education and Communities.

Organisation: NSW Department of Education and Communities

The position is in the NSW Senior Executive Service and is located in Sydney. An attractive remuneration package within the range of $204,701 to $232,500 per annum and a contract of up to five years will be negotiated.
