SBC, a leading provider of OH&S, insurance, risk management and case management systems in Australia, is currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our Sydney office. We have offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Wellington and Melbourne with clients throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific. We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our existing project teams to help implement a number of major new systems and provide support for our existing clients.
The major accountabilities of the role include:
•Assist with project management tasks.
•Analysis of business requirements.
•Attending meetings/workshops with customers/stakeholders to obtain and review requirements, to resolve issues and to manage risks. • Preparation of functional specifications and other key project documentation.
•Facilitation of change control in line with relevant methodologies and standards.
•Ongoing involvement in maintaining and enhancing client relationships.
•Customer education and training.
The successful candidate will be involved in all phases of the project development lifecycle, analysis of our client’s future requirements and compliance with relevant legislative requirements. SBC adheres to Software Quality Development Methodologies and Standards.
The key selection criteria for this position are as follows:
•Between 2-3 years experience as a Business Analyst in projects of various sizes.
•Advanced written and oral skills in the English language.
•Highly organised, ensuring ????? ????? to manage multiple tasks/projects.
•Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
•Excellent attention to detail.
•Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
•A demonstrated ability to work effectively, as part of a team or with limited supervision and to effectively communicate with clients.
•The ability to gain an in depth knowledge of existing and future system platforms and to be able to grasp and apply new concepts, ideas and technologies.
•Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle would be advantageous.
