Lloyd Morgan is currently mandated by a leading boutique investment bank with a specialist team focusing on advising public companies in relation to their market activities, i.e. IPOs, M&A and capital-raisings.

Completely independent and with an increasing number of high profile 'retained' clients, the business is looking to bring ????? ????? an additional associate. The specific team hiring ????? ?????. However, it is not essential that you possess a Resource background. We are looking for someone with exceptional skills in

• Client presentations and relationship building
• Experience in capital markets execution
• due diligence

These attributes could have been developed in a Global IB here in Australia, PE house or M&A focused strategic consultancy. Candidates from the Big 4, in-house M&A or Valuations areas will also be considered.

There is huge demand for specialist, independent advice in this market currently and our client has been established here for several years placing it in a very strong position. They are looking to build upon the strong relationships already in place with several Australian listed corporates, fund managers, and various corporate broking teams across both the bulge bracket and mid-cap spaces.

A strong cultural fit is essential given the small team you will be working in. You will need to gain the buy-in of every team member as well as several others from the wider business. You will need to demonstrate a high level of integrity given the sensitivities surrounding the nature of the work. You will need to show a proactive approach and ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and limited supervision. You will need to be able to self-motivate. The ideal candidate will also have a very strong interest in the stock market.

Suitable candidates will likely have between 2-5 yrs experience in a corporate finance role, either in M&A, ECM or Corporate Broking. You must have a degree from a leading academic institution and have excellent spoken and written English. You will also have first rate interpersonal and communication skills.
